SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Qualifications:

• Engineering, civil engineering, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in structural engineering, with a significant focus on bim in large- scale projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead structural design teams and manage complex bim projects.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, construction methods, and safety standards.
• Knowledge of current industry standards and regulations related to structural engineering and bim, such as iso 19650.
• Registration as a professional engineer (pe) or similar professional accreditation is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Design, analyze, and review structural components of construction projects, ensuring they meet load and safety requirements.
• Utilize bim tools such as navisworks and revit to create detailed structural models and coordinate with other building systems.
• Lead the structural design team in bim implementation, managing workflows and coordinating with other project teams.
• Conduct structural inspections and audits during and post- construction phases to ensure compliance with design and safety standards
• Develop and enforce bim best practices and standards in structural design phases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects and mep engineers, to resolve design challeges and optimize project outcomes.
• Prepare and present technical reports and structural analysis findings to stakeholders and project management teams
