ASSEMBLE FITTER

Qualifications:

• Must have 5 years of work experience in assembling and tack-welding sub-parts (shells, heads, nozzles, clips, trunnions, skirts, and saddles) into a complete vessel according to construction drawings.
• Can read and understand construction drawings.
• Can measure and trace positions on cylindrical vessels according to drawings.
• Can perform flame cutting of holes, assembly of nozzles, clips, circumferential seams of cylinders, and other attachments to the vessels.
• Can do grinding, polishing, and basic welding (MIG/MAG) to tack-weld assembled pieces.
• Must be a high school graduate or vocational graduate in any technical field.
