COST & MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

Qualifications:

• Attention to detail – checking accuracy in one’s work, controlling/eliminating errors, showing concern for all areas of a task.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Integrity – can be trusted to perform duties in a proper and honest manner.
• Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of MS Excel and other MSO products to achieve work goals.
• Team Skills – work effectively with diverse people/help foster a cooperative work environment.
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Thorough knowledge of product costings and general ledger accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide management with detailed informative cost analysis with identification of problems or areas driving costs.
• Determine the cost of producing a product.
• Manage purchase order workflow system to produce desired outcomes.
• Collect and analyze expenses, measure the production of products at different stages of manufacture and the links up of production with expenses.
• Help in the preparation of budgets and implementation of budgetary control.
• Comply with financial policies and regulations
• Perform any other task as assigned by management
