ESHS Manager for Construction
Qualifications:
- With Bachelors Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or relevant
- Proven experience as ENVIRONMENTAL, SOCIAL, HEALTH & SAFETY Manager for a road & bridge construction projects
- Filipino citizen who is currently residing here in the Philippines.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting, submission, revisions/amendment per comments and for the approval of the projects’ Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) or Construction Environmental and Social Management Plan (CESMP).
- Ensuring that the Works are implemented, monitored and reported in accordance with the project’s approved site-specific Environmental, Social, Health, Safety or Safeguards Management Plans (CEMP/CESMP/HSMP) and Community Liaison Plan (CLP) .
- Prepare, compile and implement project site-specific Health and Safety Management Plan and programs as per the Employer’s Requirements and project Specifications.
- Provide induction and orientation courses on health and safety including provisions and measures for awareness and prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), communicable diseases and HIV/AIDS amongst all staff engaged by the Contractor
- Report accidents to relevant Police and notify the Engineer immediately of any dangerous occurrences or accidents which result in death, or serious bodily harm or incapacity for more than three days to any person or persons.
- Coordinate all health and safety aspects of works with the Engineer / Construction Supervision Consultants (CSC) & with Sub-contractors (if any).
