Specialty Imaging Technologist Nuclear Medicine

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Radiological or Bachelor degree in Nuclear Medicine
• Performs independently general NM and Cardiac procedures
• Trained in healthcare centers with high volumes of Nuclear Medicine

Responsibilities:

• Explain medical procedures to patients and answer any questions they may have.
• Follow safety procedures to protect the patients and themselves from unnecessary radiation exposure.
• Prepare and administer radioactive drugs to patients.
