Civil Technician

Qualifications:

• With 8 years relevant experience with 5 years in Civil maintenance and construction supervision in oil & gas industry.
• Five (5) years’ experience as civil technician / supervisor in Oil & Gas Industry.
• Good experience in Building maintenance and construction of new facilities.
• Knowledge of local and International QA/QC methods.
• Computer literate in use of spread sheet and relevant software.
• AutoCAD and basic survey skills will be an advantage.
• Ability to read/ interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Check / Retrieve work orders in SAP, raise permits, Follow Progress and quality control for works being carried out by call off and other contractors as part of Civil Section responsibilities during routine and non-routine maintenance and shutdown
• Review and record documents (method statements, Job Hazard Analysis, drawings, and diagrams), raising of permits for work to be carried out by call off contractors for civil works in the operational and non operational areas.
• Regular visit to work site and record as built measurements for the existing works, as & when for demolition, required alteration, modification of structures and facilities.
• Measure actual work done at site for all works executed by civil call off contractor during stage wise inspection.
• Assist with day-to-day work inspection and progress update for the preventive maintenance activities and recording measurements, material, equipment, and labor usage for the civil maintenance activities.
