PLANT MECHANIC

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years work experience
• Experience as a plant mechanic, specifically within the concrete block manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience working with Masa Equipment and familiarity with its operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on reverse osmosis units, pumps, valves, piping systems, water monitoring equipment and all auxiliary equipment as required
• Responsible for operation, preventative maintenance and repair of all equipment.
• Completes maintenance records and maintains operating logbooks and databases as required.
• Maintains control of plant tools, manuals, repair parts, assemblies and consumables.
• Complies with applicable Safety, Environment, Health, and Waste Management policies and procedures
