HVAC Maintenance Engineer

Qualifications:

• Comprehensive understanding of HVAC system design, operation, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical diagrams, schematics, and equipment specifications.
• Skilled in the use of HVAC testing and diagnostic equipment, including multimeters, temperature and pressure gauges, and data loggers.
• Strong project management, budgeting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee a team of HVAC technicians and coordinate their work to ensure all scheduled inspections, maintenance, and repairs are completed in a timely and effective manner.
• Monitor the performance and energy usage of HVAC systems, and make adjustments to optimize efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Troubleshoot complex HVAC system issues, identify the root cause, and implement appropriate corrective actions or system upgrades.
• Coordinate with building management, facility engineers, and outside contractors to ensure the seamless integration and operation of HVAC systems with other building systems.
• Maintain detailed records of all HVAC maintenance activities, equipment history, and system performance data.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards related to HVAC systems.
• Develop and implement HVAC-related training programs to keep the maintenance team up-to-date on the latest technologies and best practices.
• Participate in budget planning and capital project management for HVAC system upgrades, replacements, or expansions.
• Analyze energy consumption data and identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements, recommending and implementing appropriate solutions.
