Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years work experience
- Must know how to cut and trim meat from larger, wholesale portions into steaks, chops, roasts, and other cuts
Responsibilities:
- Prepare meat for sale by doing various tasks, such as weighing meat, wrapping it, and putting it out for display
- Sharpening, handling, and using a butcher’s knife safely and effectively
- slaughter animals, dress their flesh, sell their meat, or participate within any combination of these three tasks.
