CSSD TECHNICIANS

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years work experience
• Any candidates will do, with CSSD Technicians experience.

Responsibilities:

• Collecting used items (where alternative arrangements are in place, these will continue to apply, as appropriate).
• Cleaning of trolleys and storage shelves, decontamination equipment e.g. washers and sterilizers and all other equipment within the department.
• Packing – making up of requisite packs for theatres, wards and departments.
• Sterilizing and issue.
• Stocking shelves of sterile supplies, non-sterile disposable items and assisting with stock control and requisitioning.
• Maintenance of records, where appropriate, in line with departmental policy.
• Participate and co-operate with in-house sterile training programs and other in hospital training as required

Requirements:

• Valid passport ( 2 years validity)
• Updated resume
• Certificate of Employment
• PEOS and EREG
