Safety Officer

Qualifications:

• Male applicants
• Minimum of 5 years work experience
• Experienced in construction and electrical safety for at least five years.
• NBOSH IGC certification or equivalent.
• Willing to work on project remote site.
• Graduate of BS in EE.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct risk assessment, Developing safety measures, Investigate accidents, enforce preventive measures. Compliance and safety regulations.
• Conducting workplace inspections, Oversee workplace repair installations that could harm employee’s safety.
• Plan and implement OHS policies and programs.
• Advise and lead employees on various safety related topics.
• Prepare educational seminars and webinars on a regular basis.
• Review existing policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all rules and regulations.
• Work with HR to set up a new employee on boarding process for safety.
• Check if all employees are acting in adherence with rules and regulations.
• Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes.
