BANQUET WAITER & WAITRESS

Qualifications:

• Must have experience in fine dining restaurant or hotel experience
• Proven experience as a Banquet Server or in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact positively with guests.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
• Physical stamina to remain standing and active for long periods, carry heavy trays, and move quickly when necessary.
• Team player with the ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with other staff members. Relevant training and/or certifications may be required or beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests as they arrive and help them find their seats.
• Serve food and beverages to guests, often circulating the room with trays of appetizers and drinks.
• Set up the event space before guests arrive, which includes setting tables, placing tablecloths, and arranging place settings.
• Assist with event preparation, such as organizing seating arrangements and ensuring that all necessary supplies are available
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, take orders, and convey special instructions to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Maintain a clean and organized event space, clearing away dishes and glasses as needed, and cleaning up after the event
• Adhere to safety and quality regulations at all times
