Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years work experience
• Dressmakers are apparel professionals who create made-to-measure dresses, blouses, skirts and other garments

Job Description

• A dressmaker must understand the needs of the client. He or she must present ideas, answer questions and address client concerns.
  When creating custom garments, measurements must be exact and materials must be handled carefully.
• Dressmakers have to be able to develop creative solutions when a design doesn’t work out as planned or a client wants lastminute changes
