Concrete Engineer
Qualifications:
- Any certificate in aggregate testing, concrete strength testing, concrete quality testing etc.
- 5-15 years of relevant experience in concrete production and construction projects.
- Experience with high-strength concrete, such as M60 grade, is often preferred.
- Can communicate in English language.
- Strong knowledge of concrete technology, mixed design, and quality control
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes
- Good understanding of construction materials and their properties.
- Ability to use concrete testing equipment and interpret test results.
- Project management skills and the ability to work in a team.
Responsibilities:
- Concrete Mix Design: Develop and optimize concrete mix designs, including the formulation of M60 grade concrete, considering project specifications and requirements
- Quality Control: Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure that the produced concrete meets the required standards and specifications.
- Production Planning: Plan and schedule concrete production activities to meet project deadlines and specifications
- Testing and Analysis: Conduct and oversee testing of raw materials and finished concrete products, interpreting test results to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with construction project teams, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to address specific project requirements and challenges
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in concrete production and implement changes to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of concrete mix designs, testing results, and production activities.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all concrete production activities comply with safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Troubleshooting: Address any issues related to concrete production and work proactively to resolve challenges that may arise during the construction process.
- Cost Management: Monitor and manage costs associated with concrete production, striving for efficiency without compromising quality.
