Qualifications

• Experience in a production mining environment on a 24/7 basis operation.
• 100% commitment to complying with all relevant Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures.

Job Description

• Reporting to the Workshop Manager on all technical and administrative matters relating to the fleet, workshop and workshop crews.
• Supervision of workshop and maintenance crew to ensure mechanical repairs are completed efficiently and effectively within the time constraints given.
• Have the ability to correctly diagnose faults and order correct parts.
• Oversee the training and development of employees in the workshop.
• Coordinate and assist in the carrying out of planned maintenance at the workshop to a standard that maintains the integrity and reliability of the equipment.
