GENERATOR TECHNICIAN

Qualifications

• Male Applicants
• Minimum of 5 years of working experience
• Responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and both shop & field repairs on generators of all makes and models and a variety of sizes, as well as providing excellent customer service, and keeping accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs alternating current electrical systems on generators, automatic transfer switches, generator controls and engine related mechanical failures
• Performs routine preventative maintenance, oil and filter changes and inspections on all generator and by-pass pumps.
• Troubleshoots, diagnoses and repairs electrical and mechanical failures with generators, transfer switches and equipment related to stormwater and sewage pumping stations
• Replaces mechanical and oil seals and air compressors; inspects valves, injection pumps, injectors and related components.
