Our client Asian Dishes is hiring Cook bound to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

  • Male, 23 years old up to 39 years old
  • With at least 2 years of work related experience
  • With good communication skills (Can speak and understand English)
  • Create a rich sushi menu with various main ingredients and raw fish (for example, salmon, tuna, unagi)
  • Has positive attitude and good interpersonal skills
  • Has knowledge of food safety regulations
  • With ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and cleaning ingredients, preparing sushi rolls, cutting fish, shaping and filling sushi, and plating dishes.
  • Prepare and assemble sushi dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Prepare appetizers, soups and salads that are close to the philosophy of Japanese cuisine
  • Selecting fresh fruits and vegetables to make high-quality dishes (including avocado, mango and carrots)
  • Expert knife skills to cut and clean each fish in the appropriate manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and rotation of ingredients.
  • Flexibility to take on various shifts
  • Ability to work both fast and accurately
  • Recommend new, modern recipes, like sushi burgers
  • Ensure the quality and freshness of all ingredients used in sushi preparation
  • Exceptional customer service skills
