FITTER (Instrumentation and Control Fitter)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years working experience is required.
• Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering plans.
• Skilled in tubing installation, fabrication, and instrumentation fitting works.
• Knowledge of safety procedures, permit systems, and relevant industry standards.
• Holds a valid trade certificate.
• Physically fit and willing to work in challenging environments, including offshore or remote locations.
• Demonstrates reliability, discipline, teamwork, and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, maintain, and repair tubing systems used in industrial instrumentation, oil and gas, and related applications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, piping layouts, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and system configuration.
• Select appropriate tubing materials and components according to project specifications and operational requirements.
• Measure, cut, bend, flare, and cone tubing to required lengths and shapes using proper tools and equipment.
• Perform tubing connections, fittings installation, and leak testing to ensure system integrity and safety.
• Inspect completed work and troubleshoot issues in tubing and instrumentation systems.
• Follow company safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and industry standards at all times.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to complete projects efficiently and within deadlines.
  Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
