STRUCTURAL FABRICATOR

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural fabrication.
  • Male applicants are preferred for this role.
  • No minimum educational attainment required.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and fabrication plans.
  • Measure, cut, drill, bend, and assemble structural steel components asper specifications.
  • Fit and weld structural assemblies such as beams, columns, platforms, supports, and modules.
  • Operate fabrication equipment, including cutting machines, grinders, and welding tools.
  • Perform tack welding, grinding, and finishing to prepare components for final welding.
  • Inspect fabricated components for accuracy, alignment, and dimensional tolerances.
  • Coordinate with welders, riggers, and other trades to ensure proper assembly and installation.
  • Follow safety procedures, wear appropriate PPE, and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Maintain fabrication tools, machinery, and equipment in good working condition.
  • Assist in material handling, marking, and staging for assembly.
