Responsibilities:
- Advertise for vacancies when required
- Assess all employment applications and interview potential candidates
- Prepare reference checks for potential candidates
- Advise all candidates of the status of their employment application, in a timely manner
- Assist with employment contracts for all employees
- Ensure all employees details are correctly recorded
- Ensure all employees information are stored securely
- Ensure payroll reflects accurate interpretation of relevant legislations, resolve any discrepancies and inform the HR Manager accordingly.
- Audit the payroll each week, to ensure payroll processing is working effectively and efficiently. Checking for computation errors, spot checking calculations and ensuring all required paperwork is correctly completed and attached.
- Audit all manual pays for accuracy of calculation and entitlement.
- Identify training needs analysis requirement for each department
- Coordinate and facilitate training programme
- Conduct training programme as required
- Prepare induction checklist for all staff
- Ensure that induction are performed by each manager/supervisor for new staff
- Ensure that staff are aware of their terms and conditions of employment, their respective duties, responsibilities, performance standards and targets
- Inform managers and supervisors of probationary reviews and probation due dates
- Performance review of all staff
- Ensure staff follow company policy, rule & regulation
- Provide advice, recommendations and counseling for efficient employee performance.
- Assist managers to counsel staff, where required, with the aim of resolving any problems that occur. Advise appropriate disciplinary action as may be considered necessary.
- Co-ordinate and conduct Exit Interviews with staff leaving the organization.
- Update and maintain relevant job descriptions
- Update and maintain employee policy handbook
- Ensure all relevant forms are up to date and applicable to current legislations
- Keep abreast of any changes in legislation and advise managers accordingly on a timely basis
- Deal with any issues or complaint from staff
- Resolve any disputes amongst staff or with company
- Represent the company in any industrial relations matters
- Ensure staffs comply with instructions given by the employer, for workplace health and safety at the workplace, including work policies and risk management procedures.
- Any other duties as requested by management
- Be a role model to other employees in compliance to company rules and policies.
- Keep abreast of latest legislations and escalate the information to all line managers in timely manner.
- Provide and ensure a safe, clean working environment and experience for colleagues and guests.
- Report every work injury, illness or dangerous event to your shift supervisor including incidents involving staff, patrons or non-employees.
- Safe custody of all documents prepared under job scope.
- Any Ad-hoc assignments from time to time.
- Any other duties assigned or delegated by management or supervisors
- Work in any other locations as directed by management or supervisors
Requirements:
- Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
- Employment certificates
- NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
- PEOS certificate
