SUSHI CHEF (EXECUTIVE)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience as a sushi chef or in a similar role
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Male applicants are preferred
• Strong knowledge of sushi preparation, presentation, and Japanese cuisine standards
• Previous experience in a professional kitchen, including working with kitchen assistants or attendants, is highly desirable
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and cook sushi and related food items to the highest quality standards
• Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, hygienic, and organized
• Sort, store, and distribute ingredients efficiently
• Supervise and coordinate with kitchen staff, including kitchen assistants and attendants
• Maintain inventory and ensure proper storage of ingredients
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times
• Contribute to menu planning and new dish development
