Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in the Food and Beverage industry or related field.
- Must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management or similar fields.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
- Good communication skills are required.
- Diploma or relevant training certificate is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a specific kitchen station (e.g., saucier, poissonier, pastry), ensuring efficient food preparation and service.
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food items meet quality, safety, and presentation requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to minimize waste.
- Train, supervise, and support commis chefs, junior chefs, and kitchen staff.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in compliance with health and safety regulations.
