Have the leadership and operational expertise to run a successful dining establishment? We’re hiring experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations, manage teams, and ensure high-quality service standards for leading hospitality employers across Australia.

RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in supervising food and beverage staff in café, restaurant, or hospitality settings.
• Experience working in hotel, resort, or remote hospitality environments is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills, with an excellent ability to address guest concerns and improve their overall experience.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, bar service, and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with staff and guests effectively.
• Must either be exempt from the English language test or have passed an English test (IELTS or PTE Academic).
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a four-wheeled vehicle.

• Leadership and team-building skills to ensure a motivated and productive team.
• Strong problem-solving skills, particularly when it comes to customer service or operational challenges.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to changes in shift schedules, customer volume, and operational needs.
• Experience with inventory management, ordering, and ensuring cost control in a dining setting.
• Ability to manage the overall ambiance and customer satisfaction during dining hours.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily operations of the restaurant or café, ensuring high standards of service, cleanliness, and hospitality.
• Lead, train, and motivate food and beverage staff to deliver excellent customer service and maintain high operational standards.
• Ensure adherence to food safety regulations, bar service standards, and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Oversee scheduling and staffing to ensure appropriate coverage during peak and off-peak hours.
• Manage customer service, ensuring any issues or complaints are addressed quickly and professionally.
• Conduct inventory management, ensuring stock levels of food and beverages are maintained and ordered as needed.
• Implement service procedures and ensure that all staff members follow these protocols for consistency and quality.
• Assist with menu planning, ordering supplies, and ensuring all items are of high quality and presented appropriately.
• Monitor and maintain a clean, organized dining environment.
• Ensure that the restaurant is always compliant with local health and safety standards.
• Foster a positive and efficient team environment, leading by example.
