Have the leadership and operational expertise to manage a full service resort? We’re hiring experienced Resort Manager to oversee daily operations, lead diverse teams, and ensure exceptional guest experiences for leading hospitality employers across Australia.
RESORT MANAGER
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in hospitality or a similar field, with 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to resolve customer complaints and staff issues effectively.
- Flexible leadership style that adapts to routine changes and competing priorities.
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, MYOB, reservation software, and other hospitality management systems.
- Experience with in-house bookings/sales systems such as RMS, Forefront, Swift PoS, and Tower PoS.
- English language proficiency: Must either be exempt from the English language test or have passed an IELTS or PTE Academic test.
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a four-wheeled vehicle.

- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Experience in staff development and creating a positive work environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Knowledge of hospitality best practices, customer service standards, and resort management operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the resort, ensuring that all departments are functioning efficiently.
- Lead and supervise a multi-level staff, ensuring high levels of performance, customer satisfaction, and team morale.
- Resolve customer complaints and staff issues professionally and promptly.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and approach to customer and team interactions.
- Manage and execute changes in daily routines while balancing competing priorities.
- Monitor and manage in-house bookings, ensuring smooth operation of reservation systems.
- Utilize software such as RMS, Forefront, Swift PoS, and Tower PoS for booking, sales, and point-of-sale functions.
- Coordinate with various departments (housekeeping, front desk, food & beverage) to ensure seamless guest services.
- Maintain strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, MYOB, email communication, and reservation software.
- Effectively delegate tasks and manage time in a fast-paced environment while completing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Oversee and enforce safety standards, ensuring a secure and pleasant environment for guests and staff.
- Conduct regular staff training and performance reviews to ensure the team’s success and growth.
- Maintain resort standards, ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and general upkeep are at a high level.
- Participate in budgeting and financial management for the resort.
