Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of recent butcher experience in a similar role.
- Skilled in processing beef, pork, and poultry, with extensive experience in cutting and portioning.
- Knowledgeable in meat preparation techniques including trimming, deboning, and sorting based on quality.
- Experience in mincing, slicing, salting, pickling, and marinating meat products.
- Familiar with sanitation practices and proper tool care.
- Adherence to HACCP hygiene and safety standards.
- Good English communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Meat Processing: Process beef, pork, and poultry, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in every step.
- Cutting & Portioning: Perform precise cutting and portioning of meat based on customer or production requirements.
- Meat Preparation: Prepare meat for consumer and production use, including trimming, deboning, and sorting by quality.
- Specialized Techniques: Perform tasks such as mincing, slicing, salting, pickling, and marinating meat products.
- Sanitation & Tool Care: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation, ensuring tools and workstations are properly cleaned and sanitized after each use.
- HACCP Compliance: Follow HACCP hygiene and safety rules to ensure the meat products are safe for consumption.
- Customer Service: Occasionally assist in customer-facing roles by providing product information and meeting customer needs.
