Outboard Mechanic

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of working experience in mechanical or marine-related work.
• Must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Mechanical Technology, Marine Mechanics, or related fields.
• Basic knowledge of outboard motor maintenance and repair is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in marine engine servicing.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior mechanics in performing routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and engine tune-ups.
• Support the inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of outboard motors and related components.
• Participate in safety training and strictly follow safety protocols while working in the workshop and on-site locations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Ensure tools and equipment are properly used, maintained, and stored after each job.
• Assist in testing engines after maintenance or repair to ensure proper performance.
