HOT CHEF
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of working experience as a chef or in food preparation, especially in the preparation of baby food.
- Vocational Diploma, Short Course Certificate, or equivalent in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management or similar fields.
- Good knowledge of ingredients used in baby food preparation and a keen understanding of nutrition and food safety.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain quality in a busy kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Prepare dishes according to recipes, ensuring consistency and high-quality standards in all food items, including baby meals.
- Baby Food Preparation: Have a strong understanding of raw materials used in baby food and prepare meals according to specific requirements.
- Ingredient Inspection: Ensure that ingredients meet quality standards and that finished products are of the highest quality.
- Stock and Supply Management: Monitor food stock, manage supplies, and control food costs for the assigned section.
- Food Safety: Maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness standards in the kitchen.
- Menu Development: Contribute to the creation and improvement of menus, with a focus on nutritious and safe baby food options.
