Caregiver for the Elderly

Qualifications:

  • With at least 3 years of related working experience in elderly care and nursing home settings.
  • Should have Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and should be a Registered Nurse.
  • Should be knowledgeable in dementia care, Alzheimer and chronic conditions.
  • Should be able to provide professional nursing care in line with individual care plans.
  • Must be competent in administering medication safely and accurately, following prescription and medication policies.
  • Must be competent in monitoring resident’s health status and report any changes promptly.
  • Must be competent in carrying out clinical procedures such as wound care, catheter care, and vital-sign monitoring.
  • Must be capable in responding appropriately to medical emergencies and incidents.
  • Must be able to dress wounds, monitor and suggest recommendations for care and prevention, care planning & documentation.
  • Must be keen on maintaining accurate & up to date nursing records and reports.
  • Must be able to contribute to multidisciplinary reviews and handover processes.
  • Must be willing and able to work shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be knowledgeable in basic computer and record keeping skills.
  • Must have excellent command of English.
  • Newly renewed passport

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary starts at €1,200.00 gross monthly.
  • Accommodation will be provided.
  • Two (2) years contract, renewable.
