FOOTWEAR SEWER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years work experience
• With Certificate of employee in the same field
• Vocational or TESDA certificate

Responsibilities:

• Patient Consultation & Measurement: Consult with patients/prescribers, take detailed foot measurements, and sometimes casts to understand specific needs.
• Design & Planning: Interpret prescriptions/specifications, select appropriate lasts, materials (leather, orthotic devices), and plan construction.
• Fabrication: Cut, shape, and assemble shoe parts (uppers, insoles, outsoles) using hand tools and machinery, ensuring proper alignment and support.
