Housekeeping Supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hotel or resort.
  • Knowledge of housekeeping operations, standards, and procedures.
  • Ability to supervise, train, and motivate staff.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and guest service skills.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Assign daily duties and issue keys and supplies to housekeeping attendants.
  • Monitor room status (VIP, DND, Sleep Out, Double Lock) and take appropriate action.
  • Attend daily briefings and follow special instructions.
  • Verify check-outs and room readiness before marking as vacant.
  • Handle guest requests and ensure prompt service.
  • Inspect cleaned areas to ensure standards are met and report maintenance issues.
  • Manage lost and found items and complete required reports.
  • Supervise cleaning of rooms and public areas.
  • Train, guide, and evaluate housekeeping attendants.
  • Assist with inventory control and proper use of housekeeping equipment.
