Qualifications:
- With at least 5 gears experience as chef
- Diploma or degree in culinary or relevant certification
- Strong leadership, team management and problem-solving skills
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations and food safety regulations
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Responsibilities:
- Develop and plan menus for cooked dishes, ensuring variety, balance, and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and company standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Adjust recipes and ingredients as needed to improve quality and cost effectiveness
- Ensure all dishes meet the required quality standards for flavor, texture, and visual appeal.
- Supervise the plating and garnishing of dishes to create an aesthetically pleasing presentation.
- Ensure efficiency in batch cooking, portion control and timely production of food
- Manage and lead kitchen staff, including junior chefs, line cooks, and kitchen assistants.
- Delegate tasks, provide training, and ensure all kitchen staff follow proper procedures and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Train, mentor and evaluate staff performance to maintain a high level of efficiency and professionalism
- Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages teamwork and creativity
