Reinforced Concrete Ironworker
Qualifications:
- Male, 23 to 40 years old
- With at least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Must be physically fit (good health condition especially for noise and vibration risks)
- Must be able to read technical drawings/documentations
- Must have basic English proficiency
- Must have experience in tying concrete reinforcement
- With welding certification/license (MAG)
- With vocational training/certification, an advantage
- With crane license, an advantage
- With steel fixer/rebar worker qualification, an advantage
Responsibilities:
- Installation, tying, and positioning of concrete reinforcement (rebar) according to technical drawings.
- Welding tasks using method 135 (MAG) in accordance with project requirements.
- Preparation of steel reinforcement elements and components.
- Cooperation with crane operators and riggers during material handling (if licensed).
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and proper use of equipment.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and reinforcement layouts.
- Performing work tasks independently and responsibly.
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and work area in proper condition.
