CONVEYOR SUPERVISOR

Qualifications:

• Must have extensive experience in mining and heavy industry.
• With proven background in conveyor belt servicing, repair, and maintenance, with at least 15 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train, guide, and motivate teams effectively.
• Certified by ALMEX Training or a similar recognized institution.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and thorough knowledge of conveyor tools, equipment, and splicing techniques.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily conveyor operations to ensure efficient material flow and production output.
• Lead and coordinate a team of conveyor operators, technicians, and maintenance personnel.
• Monitor conveyor performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent downtime.
• Ensure all conveyor systems are maintained according to schedule and in compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities with the maintenance department.
• Inspect equipment regularly to ensure proper functioning and compliance with operational standards.
• Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and production performance.
• Train and guide employees on conveyor operation, troubleshooting, and safety procedures.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Recommend improvements in conveyor design, operation, or layout to enhance productivity.
• Communicate effectively with management, production, and engineering teams regarding conveyor issues and production targets
