Retail Training Manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Training and Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Certification in Training or Adult Education is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail training, instructional design, or a similar role. Experience in developing training modules and evaluating training effectiveness.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, adaptability, leadership qualities, and the capacity to motivate others.
- In-depth understanding of retail operations, customer service best practices, compliance regulations, and the ability to stay updated on industry trends and innovations.
- Experience in leading training programs in multinational retail chains or similar industries.
- Holding advanced certifications such as Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or Certified Professional Trainer
- Familiarity with emerging technologies in e-learning, virtual reality training, and AI-driven learning solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in scaling training operations across multiple locations or regions for a retail organization.
- Active involvement in industry conferences, speaking engagements, or published articles related to retail training and development.
- Proficiency in additional languages beneficial for engaging with diverse teams and customers in global retail settings.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing training programs, setting objectives, creating timelines, training initiatives to meet organizational goals.
- Identifying training gaps, analyzing performance issues, and making data-driven decisions to address challenges effectively and enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Collaborates with various departments such as HR, Operations, and Sales to align training strategies with business objectives, ensuring a cohesive approach to employee development.
- Provides guidance, support, and mentorship to trainers and employees, fostering a positive learning culture and driving professional growth.
- Constantly seeking ways to enhance training methodologies, identifies opportunities for process improvement, implements innovative training techniques, and adapts strategies to optimize learning outcomes.
- Training employees on technical systems, product knowledge, or customer service techniques to ensure a seamless customer experience
