KITCHEN EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- At least 21 years old
- With at least 3 years experiences as an Equipment Technician or equivalent.
- Able to handle hazardous materials safely and tolerate exposure to electrical hazards as well as environmental hazards such as ,molds and various solvents.
- Able to think analytically and independently.
- Must be able to work in fast-phased environment.
- Skillful in the use of the hand tools, power tools, and machine tools required in servicing electrical and electronic equipment.
- Ability to keep records and to write technical reports.
- Ability to prepare specifications for equipment
- Ability to conduct electronic tests on equipment and to analyze and troubleshoot problems in equipment operation
- Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications and construction drawings.
- Certification and diplomas relative to the job is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain, repair and calibrate electronic and mechanical equipment
- Make on-site inspection and measurement in all units and make recommendation and solutions when opportunities arise
- Maintain, repair and inspect fire alarm detection and communication systems.
- Conduct studies on the efficiency of methods, materials and equipment
- Estimate material costs for proposed equipment
- Conduct tests on completed equipment
- Prepare technical reports related to the work
- Monitor weighing scales and fire extinguishers expiration in all units
- Perform other related duties as required
