Washer Operator / Specialist

Qualifications:

• At least High School graduate
• 2-3 years experience

Responsibilities:

• Will be responsible that all Cans that are passed from Washer is 100% okay for smooth operation of Decorator, LSM. All Cans are free from oil, dirt, contamination & defective free.
• Will perform all quality and functional test (Chemical parameters, can mobility, Visual Checks).
• Will check for all any mal-function of WASHER & UVBC at the start of shift and correct, same would be informed to Supervisor, Previous Shift Colleague.
• Responsible to meet shift production target and to improve machine outputs with reduction in spoilage by controlling Can falling at infeed and exit of washer and UVBC conveyor.
• Will be responsible for Machine Downtime due to Can Jams inside WASHER & UVBC and Matt Tear off.
• Ensuring that Chemical Parameters are followed for smooth running of WASHER & UVBC.
• Will co-ordinate with Chemical, Bodymaker, Decorator and Cupper team for any assistance.
• Will be responsible for Proper Setting of WASHER & UVBC.
• Will take full responsibility for smooth precise Size Change-overs and start up by following standard procedures and ensuring conversion parts are clean and complete in preparation for the next changeover.
• Will imbibe awareness reports, read and refer machine manual and technical notes frequently.
• Maintenance of WASHER & UVBC machine.
• Observing & raising alarms for can quality at WASHER & UVBC out feed, (Eg. Untrimmed cans, Dome Crack etc).
• Will be responsible for all tools lost which are in his possession.
• Complete record updating and reporting of material consumptions, maintenance, quality checks, production KPIs, etc. Ensuring that no facts are hidden from seniors.
• Will be responsible for clean and safe work area (5S and GMP must be strictly observed). This include maintaining all conveyors, covers, trackwork clean at all time. All fallen cans/cups, etc must be removed from the production area immediately .
• Ensuring all raw materials (eg chemical etc) to be used are prepared for every start of the shift.
• Checking the condition of the machine regularly to ensure safety, cleanliness and good operating conditions. Includes filling up the daily, monthly, quarterly and annual checklist
• Maintaining order on the workplace in accordance with the binding WCM standard
• Ensuring that no facts are hidden from seniors or colleagues.
• Executing tasks based on procedures resulting from the ISO, IMS, WCM and HACCP systems.
• Controlling Chemical & Lacquers consumption.
• Perform other functions that may be assigned by Superior from time to time.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
