WELDING SUPERINTENDENT

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Minimum of 5 years work experience

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate welding and fabrication activities for refinery structures, piping, and equipment.
• Review welding procedures, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate implementation.
• Ensure welding operations comply with refinery safety policies, QA/QC standards, and regulatory codes (ASME, API, AWS, etc.). Manage welding teams, subcontractors, and resources to meet project schedules.
• Conduct inspections and oversee testing of welds (NDT, RT, UT, etc.) to ensure quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to resolve technical welding issues.
• Plan manpower, equipment, and material requirements for welding activities.
• Ensure welders’ qualifications, certifications, and procedures are up to date and compliant.
• Prepare daily and weekly welding progress reports for management.
• Provide training, mentorship, and technical guidance to welding supervisors and crews.
