Generator Operator / Technician

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Minimum of 3 years work experience
• Familiar with generator operation, load management and monitoring.
•  Skilled in diesel engine diagnostics, dismantling, assembling, and tuning.
• Ability to do preventive maintenance of the generators and heavy lifting equipment.
• Ability to overhaul the diesel engines from up to 1000KVA capacity
• In-depth knowledge of diesel engine components and systems.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals and technical diagrams
• Ability to work independently or within a team under minimal supervision.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in challenging environments.
• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits related to engine operation.

Responsibilities:

• To carry out maintenance/repair work safely & efficiently and complete tasks assigned by his supervisor in a timely manner.
• Repair or overhaul engines, including pistons, valves, fuel systems, cylinder heads, and injectors.
• Maintain daily operation logs and report abnormalities; Ensure fuel levels, coolant, and lubrication are adequate.
• Operate the generator as per schedule, load or emergency requirements and monitor the states during operation.
• Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot diesel engine issues
• Perform regular preventive maintenance (oil changes, filter replacement, coolant checks, etc.
