Consultant Anesthetist

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of anesthetics medications and techniques
• Understanding of airway management and ventilation
• Ability to assess and mange pain
• Knowledge of pre- operative care
• Understanding of medical and surgical conditions that affect the
• Knowledge of advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) and other resuscitative measures
• Ability to apply critical thinking and problem – solving skills to resolve clinical scenarios
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients families

Responsibilities:

• Provide anesthetics services to patients undergoing surgical and medical procedures in the operating roam
• Monitor and assess patients vital signs including hearth rate blood pressure and oxygen saturation
• Administer local regional intravenous or general anesthetics in accordance with established protocols
• Develop anesthetics plans based on patient history and anticipated surgical procedure
• Manage post operative pain management for patients
• Collaborative with physicians with physicians and other surgical team members to ensure patients safety and quality care
