Butcher/Meat Cutter

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a butcher or meat cutter, including cutting, trimming, deboning, and portioning meat to specifications
• Thorough knowledge of meat cuts and preparation techniques, including beef, pork poultry, and lamb
• Skilled in safety operating meat cutting tools and equipment such as band saws, grinders, slicers, and knives
• Strong attention to detail ensuring accurate cuts proper labeling and adherence to food safety standards
• High standards of cleanliness and sanitation, maintaining a clean work area and complying with health regulations
• Clear communication and solid customer service skills, with the ability to assist customers and take special orders
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays, with a dependable and punctual work ethic
