Qualifications:
- Male candidates aged between 30 to 40 years old.
- NC II certification in GMAW welding or equivalent certification.
- At least 2 years of experience in welding, specifically with GMAW techniques.
- Proficient in performing fillet welds and continuous fillet welds on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with 135 MAG welding process.
- Ability to follow welding codes and standards, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Familiarity with magnetic and ultrasonic testing to assess the quality of welds.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to produce high-quality, defect-free welds.
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual or semi-automatic GMAW welding (including short-circuit, spray, or pulsed techniques) on materials such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
- Weld fillet welds and continuous fillet welds, ensuring that all welds are of the highest quality and meet industry standards.
- Conduct welding work according to established procedures and 135 MAG welding standards using solid wire electrodes for gas-shielded metal arc welding (GMAW).
- Perform welds that will be subject to magnetic and ultrasonic testing to ensure their strength and integrity.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure the work environment remains clean and organized.
- Work with both stainless steel and carbon steel materials.
- Ensure all welding processes are accurate, consistent, and within the tolerances set by project specifications.
