Senior Repair Technician
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in automotive repair, preferably in a high-volume or specialized repair environment.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems, including mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic technologies.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports.
- Experience with diagnostic tools, hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of automobile parts and systems, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic
components. - Lead complex repair jobs, including rebuilds, refurbishments, and precision component replacements.
- Guide and mentor junior technicians; provide on-the-job training and technical support.
- Ensure all repair work meets OEM standards, quality benchmarks, and company guidelines.
- Troubleshoot recurring issues and work with the engineering or quality team to resolve root causes.
- Maintain detailed repair records, including parts used, time spent, and test results.
- Inspect and test repaired components for safety, performance, and compliance.
- Recommend tools, equipment, and techniques to improve repair efficiency and safety.
- Follow all safety protocols, environmental guidelines, and regulatory compliance procedures.
- Assist the Repair Supervisor in workflow planning, job allocation, and performance reviews when required
