Draftsman (Finishing)

Qualifications:

• A diploma holder in fields like Architecture or Civil engineering
• With a minimum of 3 to 5 years experienced in Fit-out contracting company in GCC.
• Engineering Drawing Diploma or equivalent
• Provide innovative, cost effective mechanical design solutions in response to technical challenges
• Minimum 5 years product/machine design experience
• Experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous
• CAD software experience ideally in CREO with the Windchill product lifecycle management environment
  Mechanical engineering design skills

Responsibilities:

• Experience in analyzing design drawings versus site condition and requirements
• Experience in preparing shop drawings for High End Fitout projects in various sector like entertainment, commercial and residential.
• Experience in taking site survey and analysing it with design drawings.
• Experience in preparing shop drawings which require Architectural, structural, Joinery and MEP coordination and Understanding of all trades involved in the fit-out process
• Experience in preparing drawings In Autocad by using Xref, pen assignments and layouts .
• Knowledge in preparing drawings with gypsum systems.(Eg. Gyproc, USG Boral, Fermacell etc.)
• Experience in following technical specifications and BOQ to create various technical drawings.
• Experience in site coordination and working in coordination with project team
• Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the rest of the team.
• Knowledge of different type of materials being used in fit-out industry for floors, wall, ceilings and its installation details is mandatory.
• Self-reliance & ability in AutoCAD, 3D Max,3D modeling, Photoshop Adobe, Microsoft office
• Knowledge of Working in software’s like Revit and Navisworks would be an advantage.
• Excellent English language skills – Verbal, written and spoken
• Maintain personal expertise and knowledge to ensure that the business stream is at the forefront of the industry both technically and in using the latest technologies and standards
• Have the ability to proactively work and contribute as part of a large team
