Production Material Coordinator

Qualifications

• Male applicants
• Minimum of 2 years work experience
• Experience working within the steel fabrication industry is needed for this role.
• Should understand the basic operations in Production, and coordination.
• Should have confidence and should be able to exude confidence always.
• Should be able to work in a team while also having the ability to work alone

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Procurement and Store warehouse in charge to manage efficient flow of all materials required to Production.
• Receiving material requirements of project from store warehouse.
• Requisitioning material and establishing sequential delivery dates to departments, according to job order priorities and material availability.
• Examining material delivered to Production to verify conformance to specification (MTC and Heat Number).
• Follow up all material requirements with Procurement if material is not available based on MRF.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Store warehouse to ensure efficient movement of all materials and evaluate all materials sent to Production.
• Prepare reports for all materials and manage transportation of materials from Store warehouse to Production and prepare all production records on computerized system.
• Coordinate with Production Manager, Engineers, Supervisors and foremen to ensure accountability for all materials requirement of projects.
• Maintain all information for status of materials incoming on Daily basis
• Prepare required documents and maintain all files for material required to Production.
