Electrical/Instrument Terminator

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification or training in electrical or instrumentation termination.
  • Experience working as a terminator in the oil and gas industry.
  • Proficiency in cable termination techniques and practices.
  • Knowledge of electrical and instrument wiring standards.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Terminate electrical and instrument cables according to project specifications.
  • Install cable terminations, connectors, and junction boxes.
  • Test and troubleshoot electrical and instrument circuits.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • Coordinate with other trades for cable routing and installation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Document work activities and maintain accurate records.
