Omanfil International in partnership with Heaven Construction Guam, LLC is currently looking for:

Reinforcing Steel

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Reinforcing Steel Worker in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of reinforcing steel materials, tools, and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Proficiency in using manual and automated tools and equipment for cutting, bending, and fabricating steel bars or mesh.
• Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in workmanship.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Job Description:

• Interpret construction drawings and specifications to determine the required reinforcement layout.
• Cut, bend, and fabricate steel bars or mesh according to project requirements using manual or automated tools and equipment.
• Assemble and tie reinforcing steel bars or mesh together using wire, bolts, or other fasteners.
• Install reinforcement materials in formwork or on-site, ensuring proper alignment and placement.
• Coordinate with other construction workers, including concrete pourers and finishers, to ensure timely and accurate installation of reinforcement materials.
• Inspect and verify the quality of reinforcement materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment and safe handling of materials and equipment.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment.
