Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years work experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field. Relevant certifications and training courses are a plus.
• Proven experience as a website developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous website projects and technical skills.
• Proficiency in front-end development languages and frameworks, such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with CMS platforms and frameworks, such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla. Familiarity with custom theme development and plugin customization is preferred.
• Knowledge of back-end development languages and frameworks, such as PHP, Python, or Ruby on Rails
• Familiarity with web design principles, UI/UX best practices, and responsive design techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug technical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Website Development: Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites using modern web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and various content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
• Front-End Development: Create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) that align with our brand identity and business objectives. Ensure cross- browser compatibility and optimize websites for performance
• Back-End Integration: Implement back-end functionalities, such as database management, server-side scripting, and API integrations, to support dynamic website features and functionality.
• Content Management: Update website content, images, and multimedia assets as needed, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and consistency across all pages and sections. Train content contributors on CMS usage and best practices.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of websites to identify and resolve issues, ensuring functionality, accessibility, and usability. Perform browser and device testing to ensure compatibility across different platforms.
• Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Implement SEO best practices, including keyword optimization, metadata optimization, and site structure improvements, to enhance website visibility and search engine rankings.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor website performance metrics, such as traffic, engagement, and conversion rates, using web analytics tools like Google Analytics. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimize website performance.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security measures to protect websites from cyber threats, malware, and hacking attacks. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA, by implementing appropriate safeguards and protocols
