Maraming trabaho sa Japan ang nakalaan para sa manggagawang Pilipino

Malaking bahagi ng 350,000 bakanteng trabaho sa Japan ang bubuksan sa mga banyangang manggagawa ang nakalaaan sa mga manggagawang Pilipino na magiging epektibo sa susunod na buwan sa batas na papayagan ang bagong residence status sa mga banyagang manggagawa.

Sinabi ni Labor Secretary Silvestre H. Bello III na kabilang ang mga skilled Filipino workers sa mga nasyonal na pipiliin ng Japan para sa mahigit 100,000 bagong trabaho na bubuksan sa karatig-bansa sa Asya.

“Tinatayang 30 porsiyento ang maaaring ilaan sa ating manggagawa sa mga bakanteng trabahong iaalok sa mga banyagang nasyonal,” ani Bello.

Nakatakdang lagdaan ang memorandum of cooperation na magtatakda para sa pagdedeploy ng “specified skilled worker,” sa Martes sa Tokyo sa pagitan ng labor department at ng Ministry of Justice, Foreign Affairs, Health, Labor and Welfare at ng National Police Agency ng Japan.

Sinabi ni Bello na ang cooperation agreement ay hindi lamang magbibigay ng magandang oportunidad, ito rin ay magpapalakas sa proteksiyon ng skilled Filipino worker na madedeploy sa Japan.

“Ang kasunduang ito, maliban sa pagbibigay ng magandang oportunidad, tinitiyak din nito ang kanilang proteksiyon sa pamamagitan ng basic framework na magpapatupad sa maayos na mekanismo ng pagpapadala, pagtanggap, at ang pangangasiwa sa matitirhan ng mga padating na specified skilled worker sa Japan,” aniya.

Sa nakasaad sa kasunduan, ang specified skilled worker ay iyong may tiyak na kakayahan at nakatanggap ng residence status na “Specified Skilled Worker”, mula sa pamahalaan ng Japan.

Kabilang sa mga specified skills ay iyong nasa health care, building maintenance, food services, industrial machinery, electronics, food manufacturing, agriculture, hospitality, construction, shipbuilding, fisheries and aquaculture, parts and tooling at aviation.

Sa ilalim ng kasunduan, ang mga bahagi ng kooperasyon ay ang pag-streamline ng recruitment process, pagsuri ng mekanismo sa pagtanggap at pagsuporta sa mga organisasyon ng specified skilled worker, pagsubaybay at pangangasiwa sa implementasyon ng sistema, pagbabahagi ng impormasyon; pagtatatag ng joint committee sa pagresolba ng mga usapin at ang patuloy na pagsasaayos ng sistema; pangangasiwa ng pagsusulit; at pagtataas ng kagalingan at proteksiyon ng Filipino skilled worker.

Naatasan ang Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) sa pag-proseso at akreditasyon; at ang Philippine Labor Overseas Labor Office (POLO) – Japan sa beripikasyon ng mga dokumento ng manggagawa, onsite coordination at usaping pangkagalingan.

Ang National Reintegration Center for OFWs (NRCO), sa kabilang banda, ang mangangasiwa para sa reintegrasyon ng mga babalik na specified skilled worker.
