Rawabi Vallianz Offshore Services Company Limited is seeking an experienced Workshop Worker (Motor Rewinder) to work in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will assist with the inspection, dismantling, rewinding, repair, assembly, and testing of electric motors and related rotating equipment. The position requires hands-on industrial experience, technical accuracy, and strict adherence to workshop safety and quality procedures.

WORKSHOP WORKER (MOTOR REWINDER)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in industrial industries or a related industrial environment.
• Previous experience in the same field, particularly motor rewinding and electric motor repair.
• Graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
• Knowledge of electric motor inspection, dismantling, rewinding, repair, assembly, and testing.
• Familiarity with motor winding measurements, coil configurations, connections, and insulation procedures.
• Ability to perform basic electrical testing using appropriate testing instruments.
• Knowledge of coil insertion, lacing, tying, brazing, soldering, and related motor rewinding techniques.
• Able to use hand tools, measuring instruments, and workshop equipment safely and correctly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on workshop and industrial work.
• Willing to work in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspection and maintenance of electric motors and related rotating equipment.
• Assist in dismantling and assembling motors for repair and maintenance.
• Inspect motor windings to identify burnt, damaged, or defective coils and components.
• Remove damaged or defective windings using appropriate workshop tools and procedures.
• Measure and record winding dimensions, wire sizes, turns, connections, and coil configurations.
• Prepare materials and components required for motor rewinding and repair work.
• Manufacture and install replacement coils and windings according to technical specifications.
• Perform coil insertion, lacing, tying, brazing, soldering, and related rewinding activities.
• Ensure coils and windings are properly positioned, connected, secured, and insulated.
• Assist with rotor, stator, armature, commutator, and slip-ring repair and maintenance as required.
• Conduct electrical tests such as insulation resistance, winding resistance, and continuity testing.
• Assist with testing motors after rewinding or repair to verify proper operation.
• Identify abnormal conditions, electrical faults, vibration, or other motor-related problems.
• Use electrical testing instruments, measuring tools, hand tools, and workshop equipment safely.
• Follow technical drawings, specifications, repair procedures, and supervisor instructions.
• Maintain accurate records of measurements, testing results, repairs, and completed work.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned workshop and work area.
• Properly handle electrical components, winding materials, tools, equipment, oils, and other workshop materials.
• Follow company safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Coordinate with technicians, engineers, supervisors, and other workshop personnel during repair activities.
• Report defective equipment, unusual test results, material shortages, and safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Perform other motor rewinding, electrical repair, workshop, and maintenance duties as assigned.
