Fuchigami Kogyo Co., Ltd. is hiring Shipyard Welders under the Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) program for deployment to Japan. The role involves welding and fabrication work in a shipyard environment, particularly in vessel construction and repair.

SHIPYARD WELDER (SSW)

Qualifications:

• Male applicants, 20–40 years old.
• Must have completed 3 years as a Technical Intern Trainee in Welding.
• Strong welding experience in shipyard or industrial fabrication work.
• Physically fit and able to work in demanding industrial environments.
• Ability to follow safety procedures strictly in a shipbuilding setting.
• Basic teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in Japan under SSW program conditions.
• Ability to adapt to Japanese workplace discipline and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding work on ship structures, hulls, and metal components.
• Assist in fabrication and assembly of ship parts in the shipyard.
• Read and follow welding instructions, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Ensure weld quality meets shipbuilding and safety standards.
• Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support repair and maintenance work on vessels when required.
• Maintain clean and safe working conditions in the shipyard.
• Follow all company procedures, safety regulations, and supervisor instructions.
